Harvey Guzzini ‘Meblo’ Orange/Brown Quadrifoio Mushroom Table Lamp. £1995.

Designed and manufactured in Italy circa 1970; a classic example of Italian Space Age lighting.

The lamp features Guzzini’s instantly recognisable segmented acrylic dome, floating above a sculptural chrome-plated tulip stem and circular weighted base. The design balances futuristic form with warm, ambient light, producing a soft downward glow when illuminated.

This model was part of Harvey Guzzini’s highly influential 1960s–70s output, a period that helped define modern Italian lighting alongside brands such as Artemide and Flos. Today, these lamps are increasingly sought after by collectors and interior designers alike.

Elegant antique French ladies writing desk, dating to the late 19th century (c.1880–1900). The piece features beautifully figured veneers with floral marquetry inlay throughout, framed by elegant cross-banding and flowing serpentine lines.

The sloping fall-front is richly inlaid with a scrolling floral bouquet and opens to a writing surface and interior compartment, originally intended for correspondence and personal effects. The desk is finished with a pierced brass gallery, decorative ormolu mounts, and stands on finely shaped cabriole legs with cast metal sabots.

Crafted in the traditional French manner, this is a refined and decorative piece — light in scale, elegant in proportion, and ideal as a ladies writing desk, console, or occasional piece in both period and contemporary interiors.

French Style Bombe Chest with Marquetry Detail. £650.

A superb Hale chest by Harry & Lou Epstein, beautifully crafted in the French bombe style with exceptional parquetry and marquetry work. This piece displays the high standard of decorative cabinetmaking for which the family are renowned — rich veneers, crisp geometric inlay, and finely cast gilt-metal (ormolu) mounts.

The chest features a serpentine bombe silhouette, three drawers with ornate handles, and a striking patterned top that mirrors the geometric work to the drawer fronts and sides. The combination of warm timber tones, detailed banding and sculpted cabriole legs gives the piece real presence.

Perfect as a statement bedroom chest, feature hallway piece, or as a decorative accent in a living space.

This set comprises a classic drop-leaf teak table over an ebonised beech, angular cross-stretcher base.

The four matching Librenza chairs have curved tola/teak backs, ebonised frames and have been newly reupholstered with fresh mustard velvet seat pads.

The arrangement includes a central frieze drawer flanked by graduated drawers to each pedestal, all retaining their original brass swan-neck handles.
